Watch where you run in Indiana!!!!!!!!

Post by eaglebeagler1 »

Guys when you come here for the world make real sure you know where you are running! There is some ground that is off limits as well as some we have permission to only use during the hunts. Alcoa has some ground up here and they will ticket you if you run on this ground we cant even run on this ground. Case in point someone got ticketed today! If you want to run here please talk to one of us and we will direct to somewhere you can run and wont be in trouble. these tickets are ratherr expensive and you have to come back to appear before the judge. It also cause a riff between us and landowners. Also the permit we have to hold these hunts only applies to the days of the hunt. Indiana state law requires you to have a hunting license to run dogs. The only time you dont have to have a license is when you are competing in a field trail and those days covered by the permit are Thursday Friday saturday and sunday. So if your here say a week before the hunt our permit for the field trial will not cover you. The area East of weyerbacher rd to Bateman rd and north of Boonville - New Harmony rd to Turpin hill rd is Alcoa property and they will not tolerate any tresspassing and you will be ticketed. So for your own sake be sure you know where you are running.
