The Russell County Beagle Club will be hosting the 2016 ARHA Little Pack Kentucky Houndsmen Association benefit hunt on December 17th. The hunt will be held at the Jamestown City Park. For directions just type in Park Ave, Jamestown, KY 42629

NKC will give this hunt State Hunt status (HOF points) if we have 100+ dogs entered.

Anyone who enjoys the freedom to own and hunt a hound of any kind, should support the Kentucky Houdsmen Association. These folks are in frequent contact with State Legislatures to ensure no anti hunting or hound bills are passed or any with language that would hinder our sport. https://www.facebook.com/KyHoundsmen/?fref=ts

The Russell County Beagle Club will be raffling off a Mossberg 935 Magnum Automatic Camo Shotgun ($700+ gun), with all proceeds going to the Kentucky Houndsmen Association. Tickets are 1 for $5, 3 for $10 or 10 for $20. Several club members will have tickets to sell. Drawing will be held at the Houndsmen Hunt on December 17th.

We will be doing early sign ups from 5-7 PM Central on Friday the 16th.

It will also be muzzleloader deer season that weekend, so everyone should wear orange.

All Beagler's, regardless of what kind of hound and/or format you run, should support this hunt and more importantly the Kentucky Houndsmen Association. They are ensuring you get to continue your life style.

If you are not from Kentucky, and your state does not have a similar organization, you should support the Kentucky Houndsmen Association, because whatever laws are passed in one state tend to get passed in other states. Often times those who are anti hunting, and especially anti dog hunting, are much more passionate about and spend a lot more money supporting their cause than we do. :yikes:
