Due to a conflict of interest between Blue Water and Oakland Beagle clubs. Blue Water has canceled its 2015 Licsensed trial. The reason stated is that Oakland requires a deposit 30 days prior to the trial and we were 1 wk. late on the deposit and Oakland has made it clear that we are able to use the club grounds only and not the club house.We have had a great relationship until the last year when things have deteriated to the point that it is no longer in the best interest of Blue Water to hold its trial using Oaklands facilities. So in the best interest of the sport and fellow houndsmen we have canceled the trial for 2015 only.
We will return in 2016 and have our trial so that all may attend and enjoy the sport with us.

So much for clubs working together to help promote beagles and field trials

Pretty sad when what appears to be greed and hidden agendas muddy's up something as simple as running dogs at field trials and enjoying a common interest with others.

This is very disappointing !! I have always enjoyed the Bluewater trials. Great running and even better fellowship. Oakland should "join in" and enjoy a good thing. Sorry Bluewater was forced to do this, I know how much work these folks put into their trials.
