Sportsmen’s organizations can again participate in one of the most successful money raising programs available. It funds participating clubs as well as a national outdoor youth program that helps ensure the future of hunting.

The Trailblazer Adventure Sweepstakes is administered nationwide by the U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance. Participating groups promote the sweepstakes tickets in their communities for a $5 donation. The groups keep half of the proceeds with no obligation or risk. The balance funds the U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation’s Trailblazer Adventure Program, which annually introduces thousands of children to the excitement of outdoor sports.

The sweepstakes Grand Prize is a two-year lease on a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 truck or $10,000 cash. First Prize is $5,000 cash. Sixty generous USSA supporters have donated an additional $46,000 worth of prizes including hunting trips, firearms, bows, knives and optics.

The U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance is responsible for sweepstakes prizes acquisition and prints tickets and promotional materials. The Alliance mounts a national publicity program to aid the ticket distribution effort and distributes the prizes when the sweepstakes concludes. An independent accounting firm administers the sweepstakes and performs the prize drawing. A sweepstakes law firm ensures the legality of the program in every state.

The Trailblazer Adventure Program was designed by the U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation to introduce youth and families to hunting, fishing and outdoor opportunities. Since its inception, Trailblazer has brought the thrill of outdoor sports to over 100,000 young people and families. The Trailblazer Adventure Sweepstakes is a key funding source for the program.

If your organization wants to participate in the Trailblazer Adventure Sweepstakes, contact Ginni Beightler at (614) 888-4868 ext. 208 or gbeightler@ussportsmen.org.
