va tech massacre

This is a good place to inform fellow hunters about bills and other legislation that may jeopardize our rights to hunt and free cast our hounds.

va tech massacre

Post by Michhuntr »

Well it's been 12 hours since some nut started killing students and already 3 news stations i've seen are calling for legislation to ban handguns, semi and pump shotguns. I'm certain all of us feel terrible about what has happened. In fact, most of the details aren't even known yet and won't be for some time.

Hopefully, our nation can mourn the deaths of these students and teachers and provide confort to their families before the anti-gunners use this tragedy to mount another gun ban effort. My prayers and thoughts go out to them all.

Michhuntr, I live an hour from Va. Tech and it is a shame that something like this had to happen. That's just the world we live in.
On the other hand, folks here are talking about more CWP being issued for more protection from this sort of thing. The only laws that have been challenged has been if you have been commited by a judge to seek mental help, your name will go into a data base. Here in Virginia, we have our fingers crossed, hoping that is as far as it goes. Hope things turn out as well in your neck of the woods.
