Thought id brag on my rabbits i raise

Post by wildcatfan0309 »

Been raising em for a couple years
They r just outstanding
Took me for ever to get the right cross
I had the add on equiptment forsale
And sold a bunch
Then quit selling them to start stocking our 40 acre pen
Weve got it stocked up pretty good now
We run our 4 akc adult derby dogs in there wensday night and last night
Both nights combined we had just over 50 miles of running said my garmin alpha
They r redbacks i guess but ive never found any other anywhere
That run like mine and people have told me that they cant be full redbacks and run that good
So i gave em a name
"Pope rabbits"

Really happy with them
Im up to 10 brood does now
And the running lot is about where we want it to be
Might start selling some again soon
Thanks for listening for me brag just really happy with em in thought id share
Lol

Good job, I'm happy for your success.
Magic City Beagle Club has recently closed and they had some good ideas for rabbit birthing places right in the running grounds they made out of cut in half plastic 5 gallon buckets. They had many ideas from over 60 years of raising both training and field trial rabbits. Good ideas of running off or catching predators too.

For those interested, some of their rabbits were line bred and inbred to fit their type and style of trials. lol
