Ross, I will send you three certificates with self-addressed stamped envelopes. All they need to do is fill out their mailing addresses, lick the envelope and drop it in the mailbox. An extra nice thing would be for someone at the club to take their picture with their winning hound and a sample copy of the magazine. Fill the form out for them and send forms and photos back to me. I will print their pictures in the Kids Corner along with a write-up of the event. A group shot of all participating children would be nice too!

I will get the certificates out today. Tell me what address to send them to.

I saw your post on ARHA board about how to award to the kids if there aren't enough kids. Just give them to the highest placing child in each class. Just an idea.

Thanks Bev,
Actually I'm more concerned about it going the other way and us having a good number of kids.
There seems to be a good bit of interest already (in part thanks to your contribution and help). We want to be fair in awarding something as valuable as a subscription to TAB. We welcome ideas from some of you "vets" of this type of event, this is our first but hopefully won't be our last.

Thanks, WI Bowhunter! Kinds words, indeed! Thank you for your renewal!

Ross, I sent you a box of magazines to put on the tables along with the 3 certs. today. I included some of October's issue as well with the little boy (oops!) YOUNG MAN on the front cover. Thought it might catch their eyes. Look for it to arrive in a few days.

AGAIN, THANK YOU!!!!!! You are already helping make this Puppy/Kids Hunt a big success. All the members of the Mid-Georgia Beagle Club thank you.
As a sideline, I was going through my old issues of TAB and ran across the first issue - I'm in the process of re-reading the whole thing again, sure makes some good reading. As good now as it was the first time I read it.

Beagle Bum sounds good to me. Would like to hear more on youth hunts. Our club is hosting our first in March. I have tried to read, though the mags, as much as possible in order to make it a success. We have three very active 18-21 beaglers. We thought about having two of them judge the field and the third the bench. We were also going to make it kind of a family day, and throw in a women's only bench show. In addition we thought about having two raffles, one for the kids and one that would pertain to the women. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.
