Just like the title says. Do you guys have any old tips or tricks to help/make a female come into heat??!?

Mother Nature or put her in with a female thats in heat

Plan a trip to a big hunt or wait until you cant travel to breed to a dog a ways off and they will come in like clockwork! Works everytime for me!

I had a bitch that I had run up tight all last summer and fall. She should have been in in august. An couple fellas told me that when I quit running her as much and put a few pounds on her she would come in. With in a month of slowing down and adding about 3-4 lbs she came right in. I dont know if there is any truth to it but it worked like a charm (10 months after she was in last).

bunny buster,your telling the truth,i think its called murphys law.

I had one that didn't come in for awhile that was laid up due to waiting to breed her, I took her out ran her hard for 3 straight days and then 2 days later she came in!!! Other than that I would put her in with a female in heat.

u can go to ur vet and ask 4 a shot to put a dog in heat, i forget what it's called,but they will know, u can also get them(shot) 2 keep them from comeing in heat. it only take's 1 and 2-3 days their in,or u can get'em to keep them from comeing in heat,1 shot does either 4 or 6 months and is farley inexpensive,$4-$6, i use them like in the winter when it's cold weather and dont want pup's at the time ,and so i can run my female's with my friend's and not worry about thing's happening,then if u want to breed just give them the other shot and 2-3 day's u r good 2 go. JUST MY THOUGHT"S i've used them 4 years.

DONT mess with the shots, let nature take its course
The shots are not natural and can cause problems in the long run

You keep giving your females those estrogen/hormone shots you stand a very good chance of her getting uterine,ovarian,mammary,etc. cancer.
I'm surprised that your vet. will give the shots as many vets. these days refuse to give them due to the possibility of future health issues.

A buddy of mine uses germ wheat oil I beleive is what he calls it and it brings his bitches in, in about 3-4 days.

Wheat germ oil is to increase the red cell count, never thight of using it for that.

Dose he put this oil on there feed?

Last time I wanted to breed a female. She never came into heat my male died. And right after that she came into heat. So yeah whenever it's inconvenient for you is probably when it will occur
