If this is true, we need to start a letter campaign to Muck.

I see on other forums folks crying about this saying they won't spend another dollar on muck boots....
I say watch what ya say cause companies like Wal-Mart,Sam's club,Costco, burger king, chipolte, whole foods,Safeway etc all support the hsus....better go off the grid to be safe haha
Their Facebook page says the claim is untrue....they have a statement there.
But remember it's ok to shop at the others I listed, just keep it a secret

I know what you mean, it kills me to even register with AKC anymore. From reading the literature it sounds like I'm paying to doctor, save and rescue every dog and find it a home. All I want for them to do is keep my records straight and where I can still afford it.
The TV has 100's of channels but I only watch maybe 10 but am held captive paying for a bunch of junk I don't even like.
You mean my Burger King big Angus ain't even real beef !!!

Their response sounds a little fishy to me. It was on the Muck Boots corporate Facebook page so I can't imagine just "any old" employee having access to post images for the world to see. On top of that the original post clearly stated HSUS.

I found this doing a search about this. Looks like Muck boot company is trying to explain itself here.

We would like to respond to our loyal customers and provide additional information about recent posts on social media regarding a monetary donation to a local animal care organization. Our post inaccurately stated that a donation was made to The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). Moreover, the post itself was inappropriate under the circumstances.
Family members of an employee who recently passed away requested that, in lieu of flowers, co-workers donate funds to the Humane Association of Northwestern Rhode Island, a local association founded in 1978 to solve community issues primarily related to stray cats. They are not affiliated with HSUS as the posts incorrectly stated.
The money is not a corporate donation, but a collection of personal contributions from employees with the intent of remembering a beloved co-worker. While our intentions were good, the use of corporate social channels under these circumstances was inappropriate.
Muck Boots has a heritage of respect for the outdoors and for nature. We apologize for the anger and confusion the posts have caused and have removed them from our social channels.

I think it's pretty clear they just screwed up, a lot of people refer too there local animal shelters as the humane society.I don't think they need boycotting yet.

It is quite possible that one Facebook post will sink the company. Large corporations run on a fairly small margin.
Maybe they will turn it around and make hemp footwear or floor mats for Prius.
