Jude, when the snakes let up we need to get together and run. I think you'll like Recoil and Clyde both. Give me a call when the snakes let up.

I've got a young male coming along nicely. I've got some hard hunting females as well.

Ive got a male will be 5 in november, just got him in Nov last year, he was thin sick and had bad case of whip worms.
After getting him in good health, He is the best rabbit dog ive ever owned. Hammer is his name he is fast hard hunting dog that handles great, has never barked at home. Ive seen him many times go in behind other dogs and jump a rabbit.
I like him well enough I found the kennel where his grandparents are still being bred, last week I bought a female pup out same strain.
David Tipton of Vichy Mo. Raises these dogs. Grand dad to Hammer is Top Notch Sky King, a top hound and top producer.
I asked David to pick a pup for me that he would like. Sure got a nice pup.

The good ones trial or no trial hunt hard. We have one that hunts really hard here in middle TN, does not quit.

Had alot of diff types and bloodlines throughout my 30 plus yrs with beagles. I like and have med plus dogs, somewhat clean, close, grit etc. flatcreek,mr bill, and some line bred norms speedo ( he was ifc ,great dog)
However, ive had the pleasure to hunt with 2 males from daddy rabbit kennels in GA, these are mostly wiercreek line with a little of this & that. Boy, those dogs tore apart every briar patch and cattail swap we hunted. If and when I look for a new pup, I will be going this route.
Google his kennel, daddy rabbit beagles ,also look into high rock beagles of north carolina, I think for pure meat hounds with med plus speed this is it.
