Well, I can still go against the grain and pull for the American League. I knew as soon as Biggio hit a home run to lead off the first inning that they would not win. The team that scored the first run hadn't won a game all series...

GO SOX!

How 'bout them Cards?!?!?!?!?! Now that I have said that, they will probably win the next 4 games in a row, but at least I had my weekend! :D

That was almost as enjoyble as watching the cowboys lose. Too bad it was the Packers that beat them. Oh well, you can't have everything.

I am a transplant here. I am a life long Cubs fan, so I can't in good standing with myself or my family be happy to see the Cards win any game. LOL

Well Brew, tonight will be the acid test for St Louis. I will be up and watching until it is finished. Hope you don't mind a call after the game to rub it in a little... :)

Emery,
It really makes no difference to me who wins or if they even had a World Series but I guess it would be nice that the Cards won since they are close to me. I would say the same about the Cubs if they were playing the Soxs but they arent and I doubt we will see them in the World Series anytime soon! I dont watch much baseball or basketball for that matter but I will usually watch both when it gets down to the end. On the other hand I seldom miss a Nascar race! I have heard people say Nascar isnt a sport because the drivers arent athletes. I disagree! Now if someone says that all sports athletes are over paid I would agree because they are. Rabbit hunting is a sport but I doubt we will ever see any of us get paid millions of dollars per year to do it!

I will go out on a limb and say that the Cards will win the next two at home but end up losing in game 6 or 7. Probably game 7 so Boston can get all the income they can.

How 'bout them Cards? They didn't show up to play at all.

Hat's off to the SOX, they completely shut down the most powerful team in the National League. Way to go.

(I guess I won't be getting any invites to go hunting from my MO hunters now...)
