will this dog work for me?

I am in the process of buying my first beagle pup.I want a good family dog i can hunt rabbits with.One nice pup I was offerred is fro f.c. lines in brace trials.I have read people hinting that these dogs are too slow to move rabbits.advice is welcome.

There are some real nice folks that enjoy trialing with brace hounds, but, they will not do to hunt with. They are a hobby only for that style of trialing. They kid me about my dogs bringing a rabbit back to the gun and that my dogs must have some border collie in them as their's TRACK and TRAIL a rabbit not HERD it.

R THOSE BRACE DOGS WHAT MY UNCLE CALLS WALKIE TALKIE IF THEY R HE HUNTS WITH HIS BUT U NEED MUCHO PATIENCE NOT FOR ME I LIKE MINE TO COME ON WITH IT
