sores on hounds ?

Post by pabstman »

A female I have is getting random sores on her. She doesn't seem like they bother her but she gets a few and they heal, then she gets more in other spots. Any home remedies? Thx

Buy a tube of NU-STOCK. It works very well.

I find most sores start in the dog house via wet bedding. Make sure bedding is dry first then proceed .

Wet bedding....it's fungus. Eliminate the moisture, nu-stock is good, betadine works well and cheaper

Try using hay instead of straw for bedding.. I had that happen and the vet told me to switch and it worked great.. Fungus from the straw effected him and it did not effect my other hounds.
