OK BJK
The clutch went out of my car, the transmission is out of my truck, a tree
fell on my kennel and all my females are in heat. Nate by the time you
pay for fixen" all that you ain't gonna have any money to enter a dog
anyway. Just go ahead and say you ain't coming before we got to hear
some sad story about what happened to your best dog.
Ok just kidding Nate. Sorry to hear about all your troubles. Sounds
like a bad week. I won't be able to go either as I have to work this
weekend. Somebodies got to stay there and watch those guys while
your off fixing what ever. LOL Hope things get better.

Hey Dave,
How are you? I'll be at the hunt but I may not enter any dogs. How is that big Patch dog doing.
Saturday a huge Pine fell onto my kennel. It crushed four 10x10 runs, several dog houses were crushed. All thanks and glory to God, none of the 21 were killed or even injured. He held them in his hand.
I'm gonna miss you at the hunt, it's funny watching you run those half Bassetts with Beagles. Just kiddin' Dave. No I'm not!

Bassets???
OK if there is such a thing as a 15 inch basset I guess I might compare to
them. LOL Seriously if you are in a bind for some houses for those
Crain dogs I have a couple I can lend you for now. We all like the shade
from the trees for our hounds but if a tree comes down or a limb it takes
a chance of injury for the hound and the damage to the kennels. Let me
now if you can use any of the houses till you get yours replaced. It would
probably do yours good to sleep in the same house where a Patch hounds
been. LOL

Dave,
You're a barrel of laughs, I mean non stop jokes. Man, I hope you're feeling better, I know that I am. As a matter of fact some friends rebuilt my kennel before I saw the damage. Now those are friends. Looking at the mangled and tangled fencing piled on the ground sent chills up and down my spine. I can't thank God enough for sparing those deer chasers of mine. Dave, I'm interested in seeing this new male you have. I've heard about him. So don't hide him too long. I hear he's got a Bassett's head on a Patch body. Also he has the nose and mouth of a Bassett and the speed and endurance of a Patch. Man, I'm scared of you!! LOL!!!

New Male Patch
I don't know how well he will be yet but he is linebreed from the great
Pennyroyal Patch Casey x Tussey's White Lady. If this one does ok he
ought to be a great reproducer of the best patch genes. Plowboy has a
male down there that is doing a great job out of the same sire but a Yates
female. I have heard some great stuff about this male. I saw one of his
pups and he was the best young pup I've ever seen. I liked him so well
that I put in a standing order for every litter to get one of these pups. On
a scale of 1 to 10 for hunt and desire in a young pup this one had a 15.
I was told that the other pups were just like this one. You might want to
check this male out. But in all fairness the mother is a dual rabbit champ.
I am sure she had something to do with it also. I believe that Terry V.
has found a niche here. LOL

Good friends
Nate you must have some really good friends. Folks that do this for
people are few and far between. You are very lucky. Glad all the deer
chasers made it through ok but how about "the" rabbit dog. I guess you
keep him at the other end of the kennel. I guess if you got a Patch to
cross over to those hounds you'd get a dog that could run a deer all day.
LOL
I guess those Basset heads wouldn't be too bad then. Just
kidding Nate. I know you haven't got that many deer chasers. LOL
