Astro 220 Beeps?

I have had two different guys tell me they hear my GPS Astro 220 beep. I never hear it. Do they beep and what does it mean?

Mine beeps when I loose connection with a collar. It should come up on the display as lost connection with...then press enter.

The Astro 220 will beep if it senses a dog pointing if set on bird dog, it will also beep if it senses that a dog is treed if set on tree dog. Set it to pet to stop the beeping.
