What kind of grass is this. Thanks

Looks like Foxtail to me but you may google some grasses and weed photos to compare. It sure looks like Foxtail but maybe wrong.

I'd say it's foxtail as well.

Yup; foxtail.

foxtail makes some thick cover but does not stand well in the fall when it gets wind blown and gets darn flat with any snow on it. In the summer it is a great place to hold rabbits.

Thanks For the Replys. We find it alot in the Christmas tree farms we hunt, and when you see this grass you find the rabbitts. I heard that is what it was and went to the local southern states to get some foxtail seed and thay looked at me like i had two heads. so i was thinking it might have another name. Thanks again
