I've never been to an akc trial before. But I just measured my hounds today....there a little bit bigger than I thought!

Running them then measuring will take some off of them.
Must relax there muscles, mine measure about 1/2 to 3/4 inch smaller after a few hours of running.

I have noticed that as well. I had a dog that was looking to be really big, even her feet were bigger than the older dogs. But after 2 yrs its like she shrunk to normal size.bill (flint river ) wrote:a hound will shrink down alittle after they turn 2.
