Is there a way to keep male dogs from peeing in and on their dog houses? I have one male who does it regularly

I have acually put what I call a pee stick in my males kennels. They will mark their territory on the stick and not on anything else. It might not work for you but it works for me.

Try not putting any bedding (straw or cedar shavings) in the box. That will usually make them stop cause they won't lie in it.

Slap each of your male dogs where all the other males can see, scare it, then pee on it and the dog house. This will stop them peeing on everything one after the other trying to prove who is boss.

There can only be one boss of the dog pen and pack and it should be you. Talk their language.

John,

Take a video of yourself doing this...post it on here. I just can't seem to visualize it

Actually the "slapping" made me laugh more than the urination.

A guy that runs LPH in the NMHA 15" class does the same thing.
He said he pee'd in the dog's water dish, dog house, dog box, his tires, etc.
Claimed it worked.
But if you guys live in town....maybe try it after dark?
If your beagle is a house dog, its your call!
