I don't think you can beat Wicks all nylon bibs. One drawback. They are hot. No air comes through, but, also, no briars.

I saw some that I would have liked to try. Water-resistant and briar proof, seemed to be reasonably priced, too. Seemed light as a feather. Pointer brand, I believe, around $50. Anybody ever try them?

I had a pair of wicks for 8 years and grew out of them. Boy, 40 years old and still growing. Not up though, only out. I bought a pair of Pointers 3 years ago and they are wore out. Not worth the money if you are going to go through the thick stuff. By the Wick brand.

I like my briarbuster bibs alot. Got snagged on a barbed wire fence and didnt even poke a hole in them. Now I just wear Gym shorts underneath in warm weather and dont sweat to awful bad. Actually fit right out of the box.

I like the Wicks bibs...been wearing them for quite some time and they are tough as nails. The downside is during warm weather they are hot. When I wear my wicks bibs during the summer I just go nude under them...........      .....{{kidding folks...just kidding}}....

I brought the mule bibs and pointer brand. Both are good the mules are a little tougher and turns back a little more water but the pointers definetly serve their purpose.Try the mule vest its awesome.I also brought the briarbuster jacket I was very please w it also.
