Can a Ukc hound be akc registered also.

if it comes from AKC parents and there was a litter registered, should be able to.

I'm trying to go through the process now doesn't look like its going to happen which sucks.

Lord I hope not!!! I know people switch papers around on dogs but AKC is the highest standard of a Breed one can get in my opinion, if they start allowing Grade dogs being allowed to register AKC I think the Value of a AKC bred and Registered dogs down!! Just my opinion!!

AKC does allow single registration now, if it can be proved that the parents came from AkC stock. Prime example would be the White River dogs. A lot of them that were just UKC registered are now AKC registered. I think it's all about the money with AKC.
