Between UBGF and MAB? Wich style is faster?

What is MAB?

MAB is Mid-America Brace federation. It is a group of clubs that run the Gundog Brace format

Same style dogs two different formats. UBGF is basiclly the same as SPO.

I belong to a club that runs spo style dogs (UBGF). Maybe its just around here but the MAB dogs are even to slow for them. Maybe its just a regional thing though i'm not certain

UBGF is a federation of SPO just like MIDWEST is a Federation of SPO just different styles

S.P.O. [Small Pack Option ] is a format just like L.P.H. [Large Pack on Hare ] is a format as A.R.H.A. Little Pack is a format.
In S.P.O. there are many, many different Federations that all run under the S.P.O format but they have many different styles within the format depending on what federation the trials are in. Such as Mid- West Beagle Gundog Federation,United Beagle Gundog Federation,Iraquois Beagle Gundog Association,Pennsylavania Beagle Gundog Association,Northeast Beagle Gundog Federation,Deep South Beagle Association,etc.
If you are going to trial in S.P.O. format you need to know what style of hound and what the preference is for the judges and that particular federation is.There is a wide variety amongst them.

Do you run slow dogs or fast dogs?? what bloodline are you running?

Typically mab (mid america brace) is a more line controll hound. They run em brace and ubgf (united beagle gundog federation) can run packs as large as 9 dogs , they tend to have a little more foot .
