JUST TRING TO FEEL EVERYBODY OUT HERE. WE DECIDED TO PUT $1000 DOLLARS OF ADDED MONEY TO ARE PKC PA STATE HUNT. IT WILL BE THE LARGEST ADDED MONEY AT A PKC STATE HUNT EVER RECORDED. MY QUESTION IS, DOES THAT LARGE OF A PURSE MAKE YOU WANT TO COME EVEN MORE? OR IS THE PURSE MONEY JUST SECONDARY TO THE COMPETITION AND WINNING. WHAT IM ASKING IS WOULD A LARGE ENOUGH PURSE MAKE YOU SHOW UP NO MATTER HELL OR HIGH WATER. OR IS THE PURSE JUST NICE TO HAVE BUT DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR DECISION ON MAKING THE TRIP. THANKS MIKE WEAVER

I say the added purse will surely bring those that thought about holding off....Who can't use extra money....

Added purse is always a great thing up to a certain extent. Once it gets to high all you will here is that the hunt was rigged and etc. Greed brings the worst out in people especially in a time when most people are in need of an extra thousand. It's like the coyote hunts here in PA now they are such a high purse that people end up cheating and now even lie detector tests have been put into place to attempt to stop the cheating.

GOOD RESPONSES I M REALLY CURIOUS ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE THINK ABOUT THIS. I JUST CAME FROM THE WORLD HUNT WHERE THEY AUCTIONED THE DOGS OFF AND MONEY WENT UP TO $1600. THAT IS FOR JUST ONE ROUND. THAT MAKES ME BELIEVE ITS ABOUT THE MONEY. AND AS FOR CHEATING, I BELIEVE ITS ALL ABOUT WHO YOU DRAW OUT WITH. I GOT LUCKY AND RAN WITH SOME GREAT HOUNDSMAN. BUT ALL THE CAST WHERE NOT SO LUCKY. BUT 90% OF THEM WHERE GOOD. KEEP THE OPINIONS COMING. IM JUST TRING TO WRAP MY HEAD AROUND WHICH WAY I WANT TO GO WITH THESE PURSES. WE CAN GO ALOT HIGHER OR NOT.

Where and when is the hunt?

April 14th Chewton,Pa.

MID APRIL THE BUNNIES WILL BE RUNNING. MOST SPOTS ARE STRIP MINES LOADED WITH RABBITS. THE MORE DOGS THE MORE FUN IT IS.

Unless something happens I will be there....Ran my mutts twice today trying to get them prepared....I don't have a chance but it will be fun none the less....

Im sure gonna try and make it,heard u guys have killer running out there! Maybe I'll have ole King wipped into shape by then!

Thanks guys. The more the better. If we get good support the sky is the limit on the added money we will put in each year. Win or loose I just want to see a good turn out and run against some good dogs.

MONEY IS NICE BUT THE WIN IS NICER!!!

Thats how I look at it, the money is nice to win. but If it was gave out to the last place dog Im still going to that hunt looking to win the thing.

Show me the money you can have the trophy. I think its about great people competing fairly and having a good time the money is the icing on the cake and no body likes cake without icing.

Make sure you scrutenize your judges
some can Play the game for a trophy what would they do when that
much money is involved ?
