I had this with an older female last time she was bred. Her receptiveness was much past the time frame we suspected. She was bred later and took later and had a pup. I would just keep trying and maybe leave them in with her and hour or so as long as they don't tussle over that situation.
They will know when she is ready, my vet said he has seen many females stand all thru there heat cycle and not be ready to breed. Good luck!

Typical heat cycle is 3 weeks long. 1 week of swelling, 1 week of bleeding, and 1 week of breeding. If she is only 9 days in, she is still bleeding, not ready yet. Even during the week of breeding there may be some discharge(maybe not) but it will be pink. If he is not interested, either she isn't far enough along in the heat cycle, or it could be she is not having a GOOD heat cycle. At any rate, there are those females that vary from the typical. Good advice is to keep trying. I usually try every 2 days.
Thanks,
Bob

It's either too early or maybe she just talks too much.

It has been my experience that males try to mount too early and too late and it is the female that decides when it is time. Is she flagging (moving her tail too the side for an unobstructed path to the homerun)? If not she is NOT ready. Maybe she has said NO, loadly and the guys giving her space. Nothing like a bitch on the rag to cause you to loose interest.
