There used to be a picture of him on the Northeren Mi Hare Assoc. site. He was open marked; built well with nice head & ears. He had wins in both SPO-R & LP-H trials. I sold him as a puppy; Peter Church in Canada owned him , but John Dewyse(MI) finished him & said he was one of the best; especially on snow. Gator produced several FC's & IFC's; 6 or 7 from one cross; a Paycheck/ Schnapps bred bitch. The only male from this cross was IFC Cedar Beck Oliver owned by Bob King of Mt Pleasant, Mi. Oliver is producing well also. He was very high on this years Better Beagling's Top Sire list at still a young age. Oliver also won the AKC Large Pack Nationals last year. Dan Johnson(WI) just won B.B.'s Oustanding Pack Hound award with 15" bitch, FC Plover River Allie Gator. Ken Lewis (IOWA) won this award a year or so ago with another Gator bitch, FC Townline's Honey Bee. If you search Gator or Baba Louie on this site, I posted a picture of Gator's sire & dam, Branko's Baba Louie & Gay's Spring Creek Robin a few years ago. You may still be able to find it. Good luck.

i sure like what i have seen of the gator stuff. i run with dan's 3 littermates out of gator (ali, bee, molly) all the time and they are all super nice dogs. most of our gator blood is very young but i am really liking what i see. we have 2 young ones out of my music x oliver that are doing very nice. also have 2 pups. one is bee x oliver (double gator) and one is ali x scooter (scooter was sired by oliver) so far so good but i'll let ya know in a couple years.

Sorry, it was the July or August 2002 issue of Better Beagling that has a picture of Gator winning Iowa; judges Brad Johnson & Keith Weyers (29 entries) .
