Although Reed had planned to feature the growing tactical area of the show in a news release in advance of the show this year, Several said, "it really wasn't a big part of the show." "Clearly, we strongly support the Second Amendment."

I don't think I've seen many grass root efforts have an impact like this one did. I've never been to the show, I was hoping to take my son this year. I wouldn't be suprised if it's permanently damaged as an event.

Good for the venders and thanks for posting.The venders are standing up for our 2nd amendment rights Cabela's who is also a sponser of the Eastern sport show released a statment earlier in the week anouncing that they were pulling out of the show because Reed entertainment who runs the show refused to allow the showing and or sales of any so called assault rifles. Guess what, when I need to buy something I will buy it from one of the listed venders and or Cabela's and get my outdoor gear from them to show my gratitude. Its about time outdoor folks in this country stick together and take a stand for what we belive in..................DH

I have been to Lancaster Archery and have bought things from them when I've been in that area, one of the nicest shops a bow hunter would want to go to. Doesn't surprise me that they would lead the way in pulling out even tho they don't sell guns.
