Tri-Tronics problem

Post by miner49er »

I have had a Trashbreaker for 2 years and no problems, went out Friday evening and my red collar showed that it was charged and would come on but wouldnt respond to the transmitter. Anyone had this happen? Is there something I can do to reset this or do I need to contact Tri-tronics to get this issue solved?

if my memory serves me right on the g2 and g3 models you could hold them an arms length apart and hold the button down and reprogram it to the transmitter again... might be worth trying if its possible on the trashbreaker model you have.

Try what blue collar said and reprogram it to the transmitter. I just had this happen to me and it would not reprogram, called tri-tronics have the serial number of the collar handy and they can tell you over the phone if it is under warranty. If it is under warranty they will send you a new one no questions asked, if not for 75.00 you will get a brand new one. The problem in the board inside the collar.
