Anyone seen these hounds run? Got a young hound with a ton of this blood. Never seen it around here very much and from information I got from the breeder of the young hound fits my style. Always willing to try something to add to what I have. Take care and thanks!!

I have never seen either of them run. But all 6 of my hounds go back to that blood. My roy dog is a great grand son to Boone. all the the females he has been breed to are grand pups to eli. In my opinion, they will have above average to real good snow noses. with good brains, seems to be a constant in what I have breed and seen run out of this blood. Hunt and foot can be hit and miss. I have seen a lot of dogs go with this blood. But just like any other line of dogs you need to put them in the woods, to have them reach their full potential. I have tried a few other blood lines but I seem to like this stuff the best for where I live. If you ever make it to michigan look me up. I would be more then happy to let you see mine go. Just curious what is the dog directly out of, as my roy dog is 11 so I imagine it is possible that it is further back then that on a younger dog you have mentioned. As the two dogs you have mentioned seem to be further back in the pedigrees of the dogs I have seen. If the dog came from michigan. I might be able to fill u in on some of the dogs up closer in the pedigree as I run with a lot of guys who feed that blood line in michigan.

He came directly from Snowman's kennels. I really liked what Rick described in his hounds. Seem to be in the same line with the traits I already have in some. Thank you!!

He acts real good, outgoing, and houndy. Probably going to end up about 14 inches or just a bit more. Just like to try other lines occasionally. He is line bred off of his Demon dog and goes back to Snowrun Boone and Muskie Lake Eli 3-5 times each. I will give him a fair shot and see what happens. thanks again!

My roy dog is directly out of demon. I also had another hound out of demon. That passed away. And seen alot of dogs out of demon go. He threw some nice hounds. Keep me updated on his progress if u would. He should make u a nice one.

Thank you all! He will be six months on the 28th of this month.

I hope he can add to the pack. Sounds like my kind of hounds, good nose, line running, and decent foot.

He is out of Snowman's Knight Rider and Snowman's Liberty Bell. We are going to call him Buffalo Creek Chance, my boy got to name him.
Very good personality on this pup and I like that right away!

I am best buddies with Jim Davis and was fortuante enough to spend many hours running with and hunting over Eli and to date he is the best all around dog I have ever seen run- period. His fortay was running when most other dogs couldnt he was simply amazing. I have based everything I do breeding wise around the old Muskie lake blood with Eli being the focal point and currently I have two running dogs which are a linebred granddaughter and line bred great granddaughter - both carrying multiple crosses of Eli and both of which are what I would consider above average snow dogs, not because I own them because of what they are capable of. I could rave about Eli for hours but I dont like to - I have always felt that when doing that to a dog that is deceased it undermines what they really were, but as I said he was an amazing dog. I will let Jim know of this post and see if he wants to participate.

Thank you so much for the feedback. This pup was started early at 12-14 weeks then laid up for a period. I showed him a rabbit today and he went nuts, big houndy heavy chop mouth and he was intense after it so he will be just fine. He is intelligent and followed me around with periodic runs into the brush. I thought he did well for a young dog and only his second day here.

I saw Boone run once around 1991-1992 when Tim Underwood owned him he could smoke a rabbit.Joe Kulkenski from MI finished him.
