One of the best days afield on public ground (Pic)

Post by jon cornett »

Heres a pic from this mornings hunt down at glendale fish and wildlife area in Daviess county Indiana. Jumped 7, killed 6. All rabbits jumped by dogs and circled once or more before harvested. Some where check free runs. Pictured is Josh Franklin, Brian Miller and Dillon Cornett. The hounds pictured are April who is out of AKC FC Thorn Gap Dark Gibb and Red, Dillons male. Red is becoming our best dog and he is only 2. He is double fc bred, he is out of AKC FC Bens Mississippi T-Bone and AKC FC Choptalk Pooh Bear. Our hounds are medium to upper medium at best, close and clean with hunt and handle great.

Thanks guys. It was one of those days when you where proud to own the dogs we had down. Im thankful we have a public place to hunt that has rabbits. We have done really good this year and have been blessed. Joey the little female is April and she is a nice one. Head down chop mouth and has really gotten better since we got her at the silvercreek picnic.
