We ran that coyote from 630am to noon. Run the hell out of them. The dog in the center of first pick was in on his first day race EVER started him at night this summer and he stole the show, was the most impressive daytime debut I've ever witnessed from any type of dog. It's early but guys in the group are calling him a once in a lifetimer. He ran off and left our two best hounds they spent an hour and a half just trying to catch up while he was having to track bark and run and the conditions werent great either it was 60s, dry, and 20-30mph winds. Dog ran out front all day without any big bobbles, wasnt relying on the older dogs to make the pickups when he did make a small mistake he picked it up himself and put the pedal to the medal again it was jaw dropping to watch a dog make his debut and just run all over two 4yr old hounds in the prime of their life and it wasnt just for 30 min like it was a fluke it was for hours. It didnt end there we ended up casting the dog again later after having dogs out to jump for an hour after we killed the first one and they couldnt get one up so we sent him in again to jump with a 5yr old female of my uncles and he jumped another one and ran off and left her, seen him 3 times within 30yds of catchin the coyote and after 2hrs of smokin another one I caught him off at the road he was down to almost a walk he was so tired. Put fresh dogs on it and ran him till dark.

If I can ever get a weekend set maybe we can get a rabbit hunt in one day and then a yote hunt the next? You'd enjoy seeing the big dogs go.

This is awesome. Question... How do them coyotes run. Do they eventually circle or do they make a line to the next county?
I would love to try this

Great pics!!! good looking dogs as well!! Sounds like a great young dog you are brining up as well, good luck with him. Joey if you go run those big dogs there is a chance you will be selling out of beagles.... id rather run the big dogs but yote hunting is terrible expensive!!!! Not that I dont enjoy the beagles, its just a different hunt!!
