I have a young female that is starting to show that she could be a real good jump dog.

Where are the others and what are they out of???

She is dead now, but the best female jumpdog I ran behind was LPGRCH World Champ Smiths Weedeater Tramp.

From my own dogs, as far as females go, it would have to be LPRCH/BCH Perkins Run N Gun Sable.

my buddy has a 4 month old pup she hunts like she is 3, she is in the briars, brush piles, she hunts so hard she bloodys herself up, and she is close to circleing rabbits.

A dog that jumps regularly and looks from the time unsnapped until picked up, what the heck else can you ask???? Maybe not the "TRUE" jump dog spoken of, that dog always gets the nod as the best, funny how most of them are dead!!! They all seem to be better when there dead.....my "TRUE" jump dog died nearly 6 years ago, I have worn out six pairs of bibs, that is right SIX PAIRS, aint had a rabbit jumped since. I just may quit!!!

I think Ron may be talking about Eddies snow pup, I've seen her up in the pen and she fits the description. I may be wrong. I have a male out that litter and he's getting pretty darn close to jumping and circling his own rabbit. I'll post a link of this mornings race, that sadly ended with once again a stick on his nose.

jeff brown, she is out of his elvis & lil dog, and im not bullcrapping on this one. i have never seen a pup hunt that hard. her tail and sides get coverd with blood. just turned 4 months.

Look at the dogs 4 sale looks like plenty of them are for sell. LOL I have owned 1 true jump dog in 40 years of hunting.I have owned dozens above average and my share of sorry ones. My thoughts are the true jump dog does not come along with regularity. Just because a dog hunts and jumps some rabbits to me does not make it a jump dog.I have 5 dogs now 3 AKC one out of an IFC and AKC midwest field champion.Decent dogs .Far far from jump dogs.I have went throuh hundreds of dogs.I culled and culled.The worse to ever happen to me was having a jump dog.Always try to compare other dogs and I always come up short.I will never have another one...
