I was fortunate to draw a tag this Fall for a Brown bear hunt in Alaska. The trip was a blast, one of my brothers has been guiding in AK for 7-8 years so I was super prepared for what was to come. We really enjoyed our time afield, had a bunch of good laughs, some tough hikes, COLD & WET weather, but dang it was the most fun I've ever had! Back to the grind so I can do it again, man it's addicting!
Anyone interested in Brown bear hunting in AK, let me know, Will & Mike def. know what they're doing & I HIGHLY recommend them!
Lee Neal's/Big Timber's Lady L, what an awesome transporter!

Big Timber lodge

Brothers!

2 Tundra swans on a salmon creek

Can you say COLD!

View of our camp one morning

High on the mountain glassing for bears

Another vantage point

Same pic, different day after it "warmed" up

An eagle perched on this rock outcropping. There was a large sow stuck on the rock face about 150 yds. from this eagle, we watched her for 30 min. before motoring off. When we came back by a few hrs. later, she was still there. The tide was at +26' that day so we figured she came in and got pushed up where she got stuck.

The bruin!
