I am an agent in a outdoor insurance agency. Our website is http://www.outdoorsinsurance.com. The mis-conception is that the main thing is price. Yes, I know clubs are money poor, my club doesn't have any money either. But most policy's out there, only have coverage for the events being held. Which is fine if you don't own the property. If you own the property you have exposure 365 days a year as well as during events. You are a commerical entity and should have coverage as such. I am not trying to sell you because we are very busy. But I would like to help educate the clubs out there.

A few things to look at:
-Is your coverage 365 days a year premises liability including special events (trials etc).
-Your limits need to be at $500,000 per occurrance, @ a minimum. I suggest $1,000,000 per occ.
-Member to Member Liability included
-Members as additional insureds included
-Volunteer's as additiona insured included

These are the things that make the base commercial General Liability insurance policy more of a fit for the exposure's of a beagle club.

We insure outdoor type clubs all across the country including many beagle clubs. Most agents out there don't have a clue about what a beagle club is about.

If you have any questions I will be glad to answer. My email
