we lost a good one tonightdoing what she loved that is chasing rabbits. Ther have been dogs that have come that everytime you go to get a dog out of the pen you just have to grab her. She ha dwon the Pkc nationals been in the finals of allmost every big hunt she was in and was looking more impressive each day out gearing up for the Indiana state. She ran a stick in her side running tonight. She was the best in my eyes Pop and she will be greatly missed truly a dog of a lifetime

Wow Snake was one of the best dogs i had seen. Tell Rick I am deeply sorry.
Thank god he got a litter of pups out of her.

thanks guys she was tough. Pop (Rick) is taking pretty hard he wasas happy as a kid in a toy shop when she won Nationals and man was she looking good. This is why sportsman are sportsman there graditude towards others thanks again guys

The one thing that I can say about snake is that there was never a dog that had more heart than she did, which in my opinion is what seperated her from the rest. She would not give up for any reason and she made every rabbit race she was in better. Even having the stick ran into her side last night she was still hunting and not giving up. This little dog will be missed for sure.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I lost one Monday while hunting. A stick got between her collar and neck and choked her to death while she was hunting in a dozer pile.

So sorry to hear of your loss and especially when it happens due to one of these off the wall issues. It's hard to lose a good one for any reason but these type things just never seem to make any sense and make us ask ourselves the what if many times.

thats terrible news. i watched that dog run her first rabbits in the starting pen. its how she got her name. her mother was one of the nicest reproducing females i ve seen. sorry for your loss brother...
