Just got this in an email from a friend in Canada

lol..why are numbers branded on it by an unknown chemical..lmao

Freeze branded, or most likely painted for a trial hunt.
I'd guess is the eye got poked out hunting.
I seen many hounds once they got infection, would scratch with their foot to open and drain the wound by themselves.
I don't think these folks know much about what their looking at.

Looks to me like it has the number on with hair dye. This is pretty common in arha big pack.
