I did this a ton with coon hounds when trialing them, just gave it a shot tonight with a couple I am getting ready to put in some trials.

I just hook them on the outside of the back rack with a full length lead. These two were smart enough I did not have to take them one a time to get used to it.

I rolled them around the yard for 2.5 miles at between 8 and 11 mph. Rests every half mile, I think it is a nice way to keep them hard.
Anyone else use this to help out?

I know hard running and ground time CAN'T be replaced, but some nights I have events with my kids so I got to do all I can!

Thinking about building a little system for my quad with a 2x4 and some U bolts to attach the leads to?

Never thought of trying that, but have heard of guys using treadmills a lot.

Saw guys in Detroit do that with pit bulls. I have two house hounds let run my yard every day for hours . There rock hard .

I do it I just let them run in front of the atv. I saw on Yukon men the guy ran his sled dogs with a atv in the summer time to keep them in shape for winter.

I have done this for years out the window of my car my fastest can run 23 mph (daytona)

Had them pull me on rollarblades, on my bike with a shuvel handel mounted to thr frameso the rope dont get in the tire.

I have also hooked a 5 dog tie out to a sled and had them pull me down the road in the winter

My old elmer beagle used to love a boddy harness cause he thought is was time to bull dumbells for hot dogs he could pull 60 pound accross a city lot
