Heard from Chad earlier said ol bogey is getting down with his kidneys. Ol Bogey and blair spent many a hour afield, Bogey was the same everyday- Would not run anything other than a rabbit, could straighten out the hard long checks. All in all pretty nice old hound. Time slips up on all of us and our dogs, bogey and junie are grey and me too. Chad i am truley sorry as a friend in the wings for you, i know that old dog has been a blast for you. I hope he pulls around man. If ya need anything at all, ya know the number take care.Pat him for ol Jimbo he has been a good one. Who can ever forget the smiling possum.

Never got the chance to see the Ol'man go but have heard great things about him had planed on breeding to him the first of the year... I am close friends with Blair we chat and chew tha fat about hounds on a regular when he told me boggey was down with kidneys I could tell he was down and out... Thanks Jimmie. My wife brought him home this afternoon, he is doing some better, and eating again. The girls at the vet office said he's been smiling all morning so that's good news. It breaks my heart to see a great one get old.

man hate to hear that blair..ol boggey is one of the cleanest running males that i ever seen. u got that rite jimmie! he wouldnt run no off game, not even a house cat. if u need anything blair? let me know.

give the old timer some rabbit fur to chew on and talk old times with him it will be good for both of you. good luck with him.

I remember u and Boggey and a Bra at the World Hunt. Ahh the times weve had 1 Ole Boggey always kept you in the mix, nice dog all around.

Excellent advice...sorry for your pain man. It's never easy to see them go down hill

Chad, Sorry that Boggie is sick but don't give up on him yet he's a tough one! I've watched boggie run at a lot of trials and handled him more than once and enjoyed it everytime. Laura and the kids loved Boggie the first time they seen him. Boggie is a straight up rabbit dog with a huge heart, great personality and he didn't look bad in a pink boa either!

Chad, I sure hate to hear this about the ol man. I have enjoyed the many times that we have gotten to run with Boggie - all business every time. I love the "ladies man" that he is...always got a smile on. I know this is like one of your kids being sick, sure hope he pulls through. If there is anything we can do please just let us know. The kids wanted to let ya know they are sure hoping the best for you and Boggie.

I think the pink feather boa was the icing on the cake....takes a real man to pull off pink.

Hate to hear that about Ole Bogey! Never got to see him but have heard nothing but good things about him. They just don't live long enough! Just remember all the good times afield and at home and he'll be there with you every time you cut'em loose!

Blair really sorry to hear that ol Bogey is feeling bad, I have heard alot of good thing about him. I sure hope the ol man starts feeling better so u guys can have some more rabbit seasons together.

Chad, my brother, I know he has filled your heart with a lot of special memories. Hang on to those.
I remember several years back seeing ol Bogey at the World hunt and called his name and he grinned at me . Ain't never seen anything like that before. As you say, long live a rabbit dawg!!!!
