2nd Solo Trip

Post by beaglerof4 »

This is Abby...The 3yr old that I was telling you guys about. If you dont know the story..I just got her back about a month ago, after selling her as a pup, and she was just a yard dog for the past 3 yrs at my cousins house, but now she is doing what I bred into her, and She Loves It!. She really is doing outstanding! and can already solo her own rabbit. She has been a dream to have. From the first time she was let out of the dog box, she went right to briars like she had been doing it her whole life, and already knew what she was looking for. Here is a video from today. It was kind of a struggle in the open woods because of the dryness, but she did a good job for only her second solo trip.

Thanks guys! I also like smooth dogs with good foot. So far she has shown she can run with gears up too about 7 speed, and still stay straight on the line. I dont like the weaving on and off the line kind of style that I have ran into in the past. She still has a long ways to go in order to be concidered a finished dog, but I am more then happy with her progress and couldnt ask for any more from her.
