I have never taken a pup to a starting pen and was wondering what to look for and what to stay away from when checking out a starting pen. Thanks

I give my pups a kennel cough shot, frontline,worm,make double sure their vacinations are good before I take them.Also you might take some dog food with you some of the guys with starting pens don't feed good quality food and the pups will get run down in a pen.I've gotten a few back that were skin and bones.If they don't have a large pen to run them in once they are started make sure you get them out and get them into the wild.They can get some bad habits in a small pen pretty quick.
