Where ya go'in and whatcha bring'n

Post by Swampman »

The radio station I listen to in the morning has a segment prior to holidays that has people call in and state where ya go'in and whatcha bring'n.

I thought we could post our up coming hunting trips.

Here's mine:
Last week of October - annual Island trip with my good friend Chuck, my Dad and not sure who else will be there for sure, bring'n bear burger, venison roast, Miller Lite and of course, Capt. Morgan.
First week of December - north to the cabin, hopefully get together with my friends Jim, Marty, Chad, Brett and maybe even get Budd and Brandon to come over. Bring'n the same plus fresh T-bones off one of the steers.

Let's hear it boys, where ya go'in and whatcha bring'n?

Swamp, glad to here that the captain is coming after all every ship needs a Captain. ( Or 2 ). Other than the Island in October for a month of "Rabbit Camp" I will be doing my annual MLK day hunt with house hounds and in March I hope to be in Northern Wisconsin with Swamp chasing Hare. In October some of the guys from Gander Mtn. Where I work. Want to come up for a few days of duck hunting so I will oblige them with a couple of days on the water but I am going to try to sway them the way of the Hare. I think they will be hooked once they here the pack fade into the swamp and return 20 minutes later. Don't worry swamp the sweet spot will still remain our secret. Other than that I'm leaving in the morning the prepare the cottage for rabbit camp and to chill a little. Oh yea, I donated a 4 day hunt to Pheasants Forever the first part of October but I think they mostly want to hunt Partridge and that's cool. I'm just giving them a place to stay and feeding them for 4 days.

Jim, I know that you are a friend of Rowdy's and you are welcome to come to rabbit camp whenever you get a chance. The only stipulation is that there is a half gallon Captain Morgan entry fee to stay at my cottage. That's pretty minor compared to the fun you will have.

Jim,
I'm a guest, so I can't do the inviting, it would be like me inviting people to your spots, however the Captain just did! ;)

Chuck,
Of course we are on in March also! :D

Come on OCTOBER!!
