I was looking through some CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) field trial results & saw his name in a lot of the results. Does anyone know his complete field trial record? He has sired several AKC FC's in the Mid-West including FC Smith's Bonny Lou who was the Mid-West's Top All-Age Dam of The Year 3 years in a row !

Don't know about his trial record, but hunted quite a bit with Soup's Superman that came from Donnie Campbell. He definitely lived up to his name. Great hunt, line control, nose, and desire. Just a great dog! Also a great producer of rabbitdogs!

I own a gyp out of Superdog and she is phenomenal. Her first litter to Junie started early and kept on going from what I've heard. Can't wait to make that cross again.

I have a daughter of Superdog that I think is as close to perfect as you can get. There aren't any perfect ones, but you'd have to nit pick hard to find a fault in her. Good nose speed and hunt. I also have a son of Superdog I bought to breed to her. He is a nice hound I just don't like his lack of stamina in the Texas heat. If it's cold he's ok, but not in the heat.

I think I had a male that went back to superdog, he was this males grandsire on the am side. At the time he didn't have the hunt for me, but from I heard he turned into a heck of a rabbit dog. Picked up his hunt. Heard he might hit the Midwest Circuit.
His sire was Dirty Pond Tangeree X a bitch called Zipper.
I think Zipper is owned by Don Harmon from Maryland. Goes by MdBeagler.

Casey we gave Zipper to a guy in Kentucky, we still have a litter mate to the male that you had.
Our Male Lighting has very hard hunt, good foot and line control.
We will probably be putting him in some trials in the fall.
From what I have heard the male that you had hunts like a fiend and has very good foot.

I have agrandson to superdog that I would not take love or money for. Super hard hunt and speed, great line control for the speed he carries, and brains! I bred him to a female who had the same topside as he does, superdog is also her grandad and now the pups are three months old. Great acting pups and I cant wait to get em rolllin. Still have one available too. Does anybody else have a dog out of him that is over fifteen? reason I am asking is that mine is like sixteen. I dont think these pups are gonna go over from the looks of it, I really thought they would but I know my hounds daddy was over too. Good runnin to all.

One thing I know Superdog was known for is hunt. One guy left his unstarted pup in his pen for a few days with food & water. Well ,without him knowing, the pup started & when the guy went back to get him the pup had hunted & ran himself to death & was dead. His ears were scratched up & tail worn; the pup loved it so much he wouldn't quit & take time to eat or drink I guess. This came from a guy that wouldn't just make something like this up. I believe it actually happened.
Rick & Josh Patterson have the 2011 Better Beagling Outstanding Pack Hound Award winner for the 15" male class, FC Patterson's Bullseye. He is a direct son of FTC Mikermas Super Dog & a Lumberjack bitch. They owned Superdog for quite a while. FC Pound The Ground Chance is by Prime Time & a Super Dog bitch. I have a pup by Chance & her hunt is off the charts. When I take her, I don't even care if I jump a rabbit or not, I just love watching her hunt. A dog that will bust the brush & hunt everything thorough is a beautiful thing. I know Superdog is a grandson to FTC Getemout Jim Beau & I've heard great stories about that dog from well respected beaglers.

In the spring of 1993 , Super Dog's dam, FTC Mikerma's Hawaiian Music had 3 wins & one 3rd in consecutive weekends in CKC licensed large pack on hare trial competition. Her wins were at Fundy Beagle Club, Mid-Isle & Southwest Nova; her 3rd was at Atlantic. The entries were all in the 20's. She must have been a nice hound as well !

FCGD Bush's Harley was a grand daughter to Super Dog. She was the 2011 Midwest 15" female high hound.
