I think I am finally confidant that this set up will work. The replacement collars came from http://www.gundogsupply.com and are pre punched for the DC 40.

I did the same thing with the Sportdog collars, I just punched the holes myself. I also put the Sportdog closest to the buckle but they have been working out great!

I have yet to set mine up with this sort of an idea but i would think putting the GPS closest to the buckle would help ensure keeping the antenna pointing up.

I couldn't get a balanced collar with this sit up. My shocker kept riding too high up on the dogs neck and the antenna would tend to point too far towards the ground. Would like to hear from more people who have tried it.

WE DO THE SAME THING WITH THE DC 40 JUST TURN THEM AROUND ON THE PROVIDED COLLAR AND RUN THE ANTENNA THE OTHER WAY NOT UNDER THE E COLLAR. HAVE HAD GOOD LUCK BUT WE USE THE TRITONIC E COLLARS. THE COLLARS FIND CENTER AND THE DOGS RESPOND TO A REMINDER ON THE SIDE OF THE NECK AS WELL AS THE BOTTOM OF THE NECK :D

GPS by buckle with Sport Dog on the loose end like picture shows, although it should work the other way. I think any problems could be in the spacing between the two units. I tried a few different ways before I realized the distance is critical, almost need to fit it to the dog.
