My brother was running our dogs yesterday and got a young male snakebit. This is the first time I can remember getting one bit this early in the year. The warm weather is bringing them out. He had huge fang marks on the side of his face. Took him to the vet looks like he is going to be ok. Watch out for snakes when running.

Walk fast and don't look down and you'll never see one!

I just loaded the 40 cal with a magazine of CCI Shotshells tonight. Last year I killed 2, but not quite this early. Also loaded another clip for the coyotes who don't know when to leave the area. A loaded gun seems like the only thing that keeps the snakes & coyotes away from the dogs. The minute I leave home with out it, they show up.
