What is ethical
Is it ethical to go to a club then go back and ask land owners permission. Is it ethical to go running with a friend and later go back to ask permission to run his spots. I myself would never go back and ask permission to run a friends spots or a clubs spots.

Nope....
Unspoken rules....
Private ground/Club ground.....never, don't even ask you buddy or the club if it is ok to ask permission.
Public ground....always check with your buddy to make sure he isn't going to be running there first. Never gun hunt it....and Never take another "friend" there.

I am particular about who I run with. I take my real friends to my spots, not just the average ones, and my friends take me to there spots, the good ones as well. I am confident the folks I run with regularly would not go to my spots nor me to there's, just the way I have always done it.

Re: What is ethical
I believe in leaving other guys hunting and fishing spots alone if I'm not with them.
Re: What is ethical
Good rule to follow is not to take people to spots you don't want them in.
I try to locate places that allow you to run, but is off limits to guns such as city limits, schools, librarys, airports etc. Can usually run these places year around and if someone finds them its not a big deal.

Re: What is ethical
I would never backdoor a guy on private land he took me too. That goes for all hunting. Including mushrrom hunting. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't even go back to a public land spot to hunt mushrooms without the guy that showed me the spot.
Public land bunny hunting? I hunt with a small number of people so we will prolly be together. However, if that person couldn't go I'd let him know I was gonna go. Why? Because if he or I don't go someone else will. That being said, I wouldn't invite a slew of new people to 1 of our public ground honey holes (if we had any. lol.)

Re: What is ethical
This is a touchy post, I know certain people who do it regularly. And think its OK. I dont care if its private or public. Unless the person that takes you there is with you or tells you you can go back without them. ITs WRONG period. Good spots are hard to find, some people just wait for others to do the work finding them and just use them.

I feel strongly about this one. Never dare go back to one of my spots without me there. No matter where it is. If i show you, its my spot. Like it or not and don't go back with out me. If you want to go then you'll go with me. If its your spot then i'll do the same. if everyone is on the same page then you'll never have a problem.
