Pups?

Post by P D Rowe »

I was wondering if anyone knows at what age can pups breed? I have some pups that are 7 months and I don't want an accidental breeding. I think my female is coming in but thought she was to young. How old before a male pup can breed a female?

After 6 months of age, I would be carefull leaving them together.
I have a 7 month old male, that's been hiking his leg for over a month, that tried to mount a female feist of mine, that was in heat last week.

Thanks for the info, and I went out and seperated them. They're not littermates but I still wouldn't want her to try to have a litter of pups yet.
