Heres a pic of there first offical Hare hunt. Hope you guys had fun. They said they have a brand new respect for us Hare hunters. They couldn't believe how big these Hare run. Never being on snowshoes before u guys did pretty good. Hopperhunters Spring Meadow pack did awesome and my Bordercreek pack did as well. I know Derrek favorite spot was the beaver swamp LOL After the 1st day Derreks hounds got the hang of it and started to pack up and run pretty good. Joeys hounds didn't like the snow at all and had a hard time, but its the 1st time ever runnin in 3ft of snow for them. We all got shooting and I think we ended up with 7 Hare. Good job guys!!

This sure was a good time! the beavercreek was an awesome spot just dont try to walk directly through it i spent alot of time in that swamp.lol id have to say all my dogs picked it up quicker than i did they are still all bloody and sore walkin on thr tip toes a bit lol

I see where you boys in Wisconsin are fixing to get socked by another round of snow. Nothing like waiting until you all have Spring Fever to start getting all your snow. lol.

Man thats great! Always nice to get an appreciation for what others do for hunting in their region. One day I will go on a hare hunt myself!

Yeah he did really good! he will be at my kennel dont think i will ever be sellin that dog. i do have one male who has a diffrent style that is a notch better than black his name is goose he did a very good job on hare. took him after i pulled a 4 in stick out of his nose the day before the hunt! and he still performed after sittin in the kennel for 4 weeks! very proud of black and goose on the hare hunt!

Awesome glad Joey got to see what true hare hunting is about. Got to love that deep snow
