1/16/12 jumped 6 killed 4

Actually Earl theres 2 blue tails right in the middle of the picture. I don't know if theres more rabbits this year, we just have some new places to hunt that are holding good numbers. I feel I have been lucky , I happened across these fellows in conversation and man so far they have had some good places. I know this it sure feels good to go and find rabbits, fighting vines and briers all day to jump 2 or 3 bunnies feels more like work than fun.

Good day James. We hunted down your way last Saturday. Did not have the results you did, but it was a good day never the less. About mid day we sort of had the scenting get worse for just a little while. It picked back up late in the day. The spot we hunted was furrowed cut over and there was alot of standing water. It made it tough to get to the race area sometimes.
Where's the earth shattering kaboom ?

Anthony you basically described our hunt, we seem to have a drop off of scenting from maybe 10 to 2 and then it got just as good as it was early. We also had some places where there was a lot of water. Dogs did a real job for us. We where over toward fountain, NC.

HA, HA Dave, I'll be seeing you in the near future. We'll see if we can't put some of those low country bunnies on the tailgate.
