Thinking about moving to Cross Lanes in about a year. I have been told it is against the law to leave a dog outside there. Can't hardly believe. Anyone know if this is true?

Don't know about that, but I always enjoy visiting Charleston , and also Tri-State Greyhound Park.

I live close to Cross Lanes. I will see what I can find out.

I assume you mean kennel dogs outside,only problem i could see if dogs bark alot may have neighbor problem.Cross Lanes is unincorporated so no city laws and there is no county laws against it.I live about 10 miles from there and have friends who live there and have kenneled dogs.

Seems to me that the humane society got these laws changed in Kanawha county. Maybe Chip will post and let us know,

If you're worried about the laws in kanawha county then move less than 5 miles west of cross lanes and you'll be in Putnam county. No laws on kenneling dogs here

Dave Kanawha County did not get the law your referring to passed.19 rabbit 52 if you get moved down to WV let us know you can run with us.Must be tuff skinned though cause there is a lot kidding and joking and GOD forbid if you miss one

Dave they are all right no Laws passed about leaving a Dog Outside in Kanawha Co. They did just pass a Law in a Town in Putnam Co. only can have two Dogs Outside I think, but nothing in Kanawha Co.
