Had some good hunts this weekend. Saturday started at a spot that has not had any kind of huntin on it in 15 years or more.I felt lucky to be able to get in there and Im glad I did.The dogs absolutely got after them there,the first race lasted about 45 minutes.All the dogs except 1 came to the kill,he jumped another rabbit and the 2nd race was going not long after the 1st was finished. After the 5th rabbit was harvested we left deciding not to take anymore from that spot and return another day there was still plenty we didnt cover. Then,We went to a spot near by that has about 6 different fields and big thickets in each field that we went to earlier in the year but didnt cover half of it and had 2 great races,one going for about 30 minutes and the other for a little over an hour through a big patch of woods that had 1 check in the whole race. The dogs hammered that rabbit nonstop.After 6 hours I had to call it because I had somewhere to be,Sunday we jumped 5.Killed 2,missed one and never even raised the gun on the other 2 just let the dogs run until they were finished.Great weekend especially Saturday the dogs really ran hard I was proud of them.Couple pics from Sat.
