I don't know about everyone else, but the book I most often rely on is called DOG OWNER"S HOME VETERINARY HANDBOOK (third edition) by James M. Giffin, M.D. and Liisa Carlson, D.V.M. I believe it is published through a company called Howell Book House out of New York. I think that I payed around $25.00-$28.00 for at a Barnes and Noble book store. It's a very good book with alot of in-depth info. [/b][/i]

I have a copy of that book and I use it quite a bit. It is well worth the money. I think that I bought mine from Amazon.com. I recommend it highly. Every serious dog owner should have it.
