Thinking a guy in N.C. got most of Gills hounds and still breds the Boldstroke line but his name eludes me at present. Go to the search bar here ans enter Boldstroke & I'd say you will find him. They were a good steady line of dogs from what I've seen

Brad Adkins in ky owns stretch....he is full boldstroke. Get in touch with him, I'm sure he has a few pups out of stretch. You can find his pedigree and brads info if you run a search.

sounds like Gill is out of beagling i would be interested in that stetch dog is he akc reg I owned boldstrokes quick annie boldstrokes snoot boldstrokes copperhead all great hounds boldstrokes snoot was awful she would run for days not hours run the pads off her feet come in so sore shed fall on here side next to her feed bowl lay there til she could move eat that way go again she would not handle she could eat a shock collar shed scream from the shock and keep right on going I hated her but i loved her she died at a real ole age and i miss her toughest hardheaded hardcore rabbit dog ever she placed 9th in field trial with over 50 hounds in it with solid raw feet we put her in so a kid that never trialed before wouldnt have a hard time handling her how wrong we was thanks Gill

raw feet is why we sold our last two boldstrokes. no matter what you did they would run the pads off in just a few hours. Stretch is AKC and is a upper fast (9, 10) speed male. the dog can flat out fly when i seen him go a few years back. good luck.

I owned a boldstroke dog and she was a great dog. She had a real big nose, she could run on anything anytime. I would love to have another one . Good bloodline.

Steve, Brian Hadly (at AB) is either Gill's cousin or lives next to him. He can tell you about Gill and where he is for sure.
